Welcome in Tienhoven

Enjoy our guesthouse for 2 persons in charming Tienhoven. Located in one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the Netherlands. A paradise for cyclists and walkers. In the summer you can go out with our kayak and when it's freezing you can skate right in front of the door. The guesthouse is located in our large garden and has its own kitchen and bathroom.

Comfortable guesthouse

Our guesthouse is a cozy and fully self-contained studio of approximately 38m². It features a comfortable double bed (160 cm wide) and a private kitchen and bathroom with a shower. The living/sleeping area and kitchen are separated by a glass door, giving you a sense of space and privacy. A baby bed and high chair are available upon request. Towels and kitchen linens are provided, and the bed is made up for your arrival.

The studio is equipped with Wi-Fi and (floor) heating, ensuring a comfortable stay year-round.

Our kitchen has a 4-burner gas stove, an oven, and a Nespresso machine. In the summer, we also have a cozy seating area where you can enjoy your meals or breakfast outside on your private terrace.

We don't offer any breakfast. The supermarket is open 7 days a week.

You can arrive whenever you want! Self-check-in is available. Just let us know what time works for you, and we'll email you the instructions. In the guesthouse, you'll find all the practical information, including the Wi-Fi code, important details, and plenty of tips for tourist activities!

Our area

Transport

This location is perfect. Quiet, and just a 30-minute drive to Amsterdam and only 15 minutes to Utrecht. Plus, you have your own private parking space. We also offer two bikes for free use! There is a bus available, but it only runs during the day. The nearest train stations are Breukelen (10 km away) and Maarssen (7 km away), so having a car is definitely convenient.

Biking

We have several scenic cycling routes. In the summer, take the free bike ferry across the Loosdrechtse Plassen or cycle along the beautiful castles by the Vecht River. Along the way, you'll pass cozy terraces and interesting sights.

Hiking

If you love walking, this is the perfect spot! Several short and long walking routes pass by our house. You can stroll through the peaceful polder or walk along the lakes. On a beautiful day, take a kayak and enjoy the silence and birdlife on the water.
